By placing a deposit, you agree that you have read and understand the below information. If you have any questions, please ask prior to placing a deposit. Once a deposit is placed on a piglet, it is not refundable and non-transferable.  No exceptions.  We will contact you when your piglet is weaned and ready to go. Your piglet will be ready to go around 6-8 weeks of age. Contact must be made by the customer within 72 hours of the pickup email and the piglet must be picked up or paid for in full within 5 days of this email unless other arrangements have been made.  If contact and payment is not received within this period and other arrangements have not been made, you will forfeit your deposit and your piglet will go back up for sale.  No exceptions.   Please note, we no longer make multiple attempts to contact you.  If we see that you have read the message and chose not to respond, we will assume that you are no longer interested.

We accept Credit cards through Paypal and cash for payment.  There is a 3% fee for all credit card payment with the exception of the deposit.  We cover the fees for the deposit.

 

We do not sell to people that live in Condos or Apartments.  This is primarily due to two factors.  Pigs need an outdoor area, even if it is a small area, to play and simply be a pig. Secondly, pigs can be loud. Our piglets are handled and socialized extensively, so they don’t scream when being handled like a piglet that you may get from a farm, but a pig is capable of being quite loud if angry.  If we find out that you reside in a condo or an apartment after you have made your deposit, your deposit will be forfeited.

In some areas, pigs are still considered livestock and are not allowed to be kept as pets.  It is important to make sure that your area is zoned for pet pigs.  We recommend that you contact your local humane society if you have any questions regarding your location.  If they don’t know, they should be able to point you to who does.   If you live in a community that has a HOA, you should check with them to make sure that a pig is allowed.

We do not sell to anyone under the age of 18.  No exceptions.

If your piglet is to be shipped, we will need to schedule a vet visit to get paperwork completed that is required to legally ship your new pet. The price of this vet visit is included in the shipping price.  The paperwork is only good for 10 days, so shipping must be done during that time.  We generally do most of our shipping on weekends due to having kids in school. Piglets must be paid for in full by 6 weeks of age.  Piglets can be shipped at 8 weeks of age.  You will need to pick your pig up from your local airport.

We do  not offer any refunds.  No exceptions.  Should you not be able to keep your pig, we will take it back There will be no monetary reimbursement, but we will make sure that your pet is placed in a good home. Unless it is emergent, we may need time to make room for your pet.  We want to make the transition as easy as possible for your pig.
